Droopy upper eyelids corrected with ptosis correction (external approach) and blepharoplasty.

This patient underwent autologous fat trasfer to the upper eyelids with antoher surgeon and was not happy with the results. She underwent upper blepharoplasty with removal of the fat. The procedure was done in the office under local anesthesia and took approximately 45 mintues.

Heavy upper eyelids with excess skin/hooding corrected with upper blepharoplasty surgery

Patient with previous thyroid eye disease (Grave’s disease affecting the eye sockets) that caused eye bulging (proptosis) with excess fat deposition (bags) and excess skin of the upper and lower eyelids. Rehabilitative (non-cosmetic) surgery was performed.

Excess skin of the upper eyelids (dermatochalasis) causing loss of the peripheral (side) vision. Functional (medically necessary) blepharoplasty was performed to improve the patient’s vision.
